Incident Report

There have been concerns regarding crime and safety issues that not only have been plaguing 5th Avenue, but also citywide. We are in constant contact with the NYPD and we want to make sure we receive as much support as possible for merchants and residents. Recently, the BID held a meeting with Captain Tolson from the 68th precinct to discuss issues. 

 

Going forward, we are asking merchants to:

• Report ALL criminal activity to 911 including theft (regardless of amount), menacing/harassment, and drug sales. These crimes are often not reported which makes it impossible to address.

• Keep us in the loop whenever you experience criminal intent especially when your safety is threatened by completed the form below.
