And the Winners Are....

The 1st Annual Bay Ridge 5th Ave BID Virtual Costume winners are in for a treat!  With hundreds of votes cast on our online poll, the final numbers are in. There's no dispute in this election. Let’s meet the winners.

Congratulations to 1st prize winner Nico, as Baby Yoda!  Nico will receive a $20 gift certificate from We’re Havin’ a Party – Brooklyn's #1 party headquarters and one-stop costume and party shop.  With a huge stock of classic and contemporary costumes for all ages, for rent or purchase, they have been serving New York for over 30 years.  Check out their website or visit in person at 8414 5th Ave.

Coming in a close 2nd place is Herman, virtually dressed as Black Panther.  Herman will receive a professionally framed portrait of his winning costume from Brooklyn Art & Frame located at 7709 5th Ave.  Need affordable, top-notch quality framing?  This is the spot to go in Bay Ridge.

And last but not least is our 3rd place winner, Isabella, all dressed up in her virtual Wonder Woman costume.  Isabella has won a candy basket valued at $20 from Brooklyn’s premier candy shop, Choc Oh Lot Plus located at 7911 5th Ave.  Whether you desire ready-made candy or chocolates there's more to be found than candy there. They have over 150 varieties of bulk candy. Whether your choice is a modern favorite or a selection from your childhood they’ve got it. Choc-Oh! Lot Plus also has over 98 varieties of chocolate. With an extensive selection of candy and chocolates to choose from you are sure to satisfy any sweet tooth.

All of our online voters were also entered into a raffle.  One lucky winner will receive a $20 gift certificate from Bay Ridge Bakery.  Visit their retail location at 7805 5th Ave and spoil yourself. Browse their huge selection of freshly baked cakes, cookies, breads and pastries that all made in front of your eyes. You can also order on-line and pick for delivery in-store.

Again, we would like to thank our 5th Ave merchants who supplied prizes and gift certificates from their shops. Even you didn't win a prize, get out on the Ave and support your local small businesses who are the backbone of our community.
