BID Hosts "Street Moments" and Virtual Costume Contest

Things are happening on 5th!

Take part in Street Moments - a series of tactical and temporary takeovers of our 5th Ave streetscape. The Bay Ridge 5th Ave BID is hosting an impromptu art walk at the intersection of 5th Ave and 79th Street on Saturday October 17th from 1-5pm. View artistic masterpieces by Bay Ridge’s own Adelphi Academy students while local buskers fill the air with music.  Try your luck and spin the prize wheel for your chance to win from an assortment of gifts.  Take a selfie with the 5th Ave mascot.  And that’s not all!

Halloween is coming for you.  Enter the first annual Virtual Costume Contest!

The Bay Ridge 5th Ave BID invites you to participate in this first of its kind event. Enter for you chance to win a $25 gift card from We’re Havin’ a Party, a candy basket from Choc-oh-Lot Plus, or your winning framed portrait from Brooklyn Art & Frame. 

How does it work? 

1) To enter online visit www.bayridgebid.com/costume-contest

2) Share your contact information with us so we can get a hold of you if you win.

3) Choose your “Virtual Costume” from one of six choices.

4) Upload your ‘selfie” headshot.  The BID team will photo edit your headshot and fit it to your chosen virtual costume.

5) Vote for your favorite “Virtual Costume” contestant online line at bayridgebid.com/costume-contest Polls are open from October 20th - 30th. Invite friends and family to vote as well. ALL votes will be counted! 

6) Winners will be selected on Halloween!
